      Senior Talent Acquisition Lead

      • Grade 9/10, Full-Time, Ongoing, 35 Hours per week
      • Hybrid working arrangements
      • Location, Sydney Metro, Gosford or Newcastle

      Reporting to the Manager, Talent Acquisition and Onboarding, you will play a critical part in leading a team of talent specialists in delivering effective recruitment practices, drive proactive sourcing strategies, engage, and onboard high performing talent across our agencies.

      You will be an enabler of change and be solutions focused. You will lead by example and manage the end-to-end recruitment across the Regulatory portfolio including Safe Work NSW, NSW Fair Trading and NSW Building Commission. In this role you will partner closely with the portfolio leadership team and P&C leaders to drive superior talent outcomes.

      What are we looking for in our ideal candidate?

      • Demonstrated experience in leading a Talent Acquisition/ Recruitment Team
      • Demonstrated experience making data driven decisions to improve service delivery, processes, and capability within a fast-paced environment
      • Professional written and verbal communication skills to deliver information to an executive audience
      • Demonstrated experience in supporting the development of a highly customer-centric culture through values-based hiring
      • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources Management and Business or a related professional discipline or equivalent experience

      What will your day involve?

      • Managing the delivery of talent acquisition services end to end in line with best practice methodologies, legislative and Public Service Commission guidelines to support ongoing operational demands
      • Identifying, developing, implementing, and reviewing contemporary talent resourcing, policies, processes, and solutions, to continually improve the quality and timeliness of outcomes
      • Key stakeholder engagement and relationship management to support hiring activities across the cluster
      • Use key analytical skills to provide data driven decision making to identify and implement continuous improvement strategies within the team
      • Leading, supporting, and nurturing a Talent Acquisition team
      • Project management to deliver key initiatives
