      Ripple Effect is looking for a Senior Talent Sourcing and Acquisition Specialist to join our Human Resources (HR) Department and support our clients’ missions in biomedical research and health/healthcare support. This role will lead the recruitment efforts for the company, managing applicants throughout the pipeline, as well as overseeing the entire recruiting process. The successful candidate will work with leadership and hiring managers to strategically recruit for government contracting positions in science, project management, communications, evaluation, and information technology (IT), leveraging advanced sourcing techniques to identify and engage high-quality candidates and establishing pipelines of talent and engaged networks to support both current and future workforce needs.

      General Information

      Responsibilities

      • Serve as primary point of contact for the sourcing and engagement of applicants from a variety of channels (social media networks, professional organizations, specialty job boards, etc.) to build pipelines based on experience and networks.
      • Coordinate with hiring managers to understand position requirements and desired candidate profiles for a variety of technical and non-technical roles, advising of strategies that maximize talent pools.
      • Perform a wide variety of recruiting-related tasks including corresponding with candidates, screening for minimum qualifications, conducting phone screens, scheduling interviews, and providing thoughtful candidate evaluations.
      • Observe trends in the labor market and advise hiring managers on how to select the right positions to capitalize on trends and bring the best talent to Ripple Effect.
      • Actively promote Ripple Effect externally through professional networks (including in-person events) and professional social media channels, especially in science and healthcare markets.
      • Identify and recommend optimal outreach activities and events. Work with corporate communications to develop and distribute materials for events and outreach.
      • Ensure compliance with government regulations and security clearance requirements in the talent acquisition process.
      • Assist with collecting, tracking and reporting on key departmental metrics and hiring status.
      • Contribute to human resource practices that support a diverse, equitable and inclusive environment.
      • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

      Minimum Education and Experience

      • Bachelor's degree
      • 6 years of relevant professional experience
        • At least 3 years’ experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS)
        • At least 2 years’ experience sourcing passive candidates

      Basic Requirements

      • Previous experience with recruiting in the Government Contracting Industry and the unique challenges and requirements of recruiting within this sector
      • Expertise in the full recruiting life cycle, with strong experience executing tasks for the efficient management of multiple position pipelines
      • Demonstrated ability to source and secure high-caliber talent in competitive job markets, especially science and health care markets
      • Previous experience and proficiency with advanced sourcing platforms like LinkedIn Recruiter
      • Comprehensive knowledge of sourcing and recruitment best practices
      • Experience networking and building relationships through various platforms, including social media, job boards, career fairs, etc.
      • Detail-oriented and highly organized, capable of managing multiple recruitment actions and ensuring compliance with federal hiring practices
      • Exceptional customer service skills and a professional communication style (verbal and written)
      • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Outlook, Teams)
      • Strong understanding of labor market conditions as well as scientific and health job markets
      • Must be able and willing to report to Ripple Headquarters office (Rockville, MD) 1-2 days per week

      Skills That Set You Apart

      • Strong familiarity with federal acquisition regulations (FAR) and compliance requirements
      • Previous experience recruiting for specialized requirements and various levels of security clearances
      • Strong understanding of and proficiency in the Workable Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
      • Advanced skills in Boolean search to efficiently find qualified candidates
