- Job Title: Senior Tax Analyst
- Office Location: New York, NY - 399 Park Avenue
- Identify areas for tax technology improvement and automation to help improve Tax Department efficiencies
- Utilize proficiencies in SQL – by designing and running queries on large data sets
- Process reengineering or business analysis of Tax data and procedures
- Assist in the monitoring of the Firm’s FIRPTA/ECI risk by working closely with other departments pre-trade and post-trade
- Work closely with the Finance Department to automate and better manage access to the relevant General Ledger Accounts for Tax reporting purposes
- Flexible approach to meet the changing needs of the Tax Team and Finance Department
- Approximately 6+ years of a combination of hedge fund tax (domestic and international) experience in a Big 4 and/or Hedge Fund.
- Strong written, verbal, and analytical skills together with strong interpersonal and client service skills
- Proficient in SQL, Tableau and Alteryx applications
- Strong technical proficiency with web applications and MS Office, ability to learn new systems/applications quickly
- Ability to multi-task as well as meet short deadlines in a fast paced environment

The estimated base salary range for this position is $160,000 to $250,000, which is specific to New York and may change in the future. Millennium pays a total compensation package which includes a base salary, discretionary performance bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package. When finalizing an offer, we take into consideration an individual’s experience level and the qualifications they bring to the role to formulate a competitive total compensation package.
