      Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Tax Analyst to join our Finance team. Reporting directly to the Tax Manager, this remote role will be a key contributor to our income tax and indirect tax functions, including tax accounting, compliance, and planning. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with finance leadership based in Irvine, California, and interact with cross-functional teams across the organization.

      Responsibilities:
      • Support the preparation of tax provisions, including financial statement footnotes and disclosures.
      • Support the preparation of annual federal and state tax compliance and filing of tax returns including corresponding with tax authorities and assistance with tax audits.
      • Prepare quarterly federal and state income tax estimated calculations and process the tax payments.
      • Prepare and file various tax compliance forms, such as FBAR, Section 338 Elections, and Entity Classification elections.
      • Prepare and file indirect tax returns (sales & use tax, property tax, and similar taxes).
      • Manage and maintain sales tax exemption and reseller certificates.
      • Coordinate with external tax advisors to support information requests and manage key compliance processes and strategic tax initiatives
      • Support and manage R&D and 179D study conducted by external tax service providers.
      • Work cross functionally with other members of the broader finance team and teams across the Company to gather information, deliver key projects, processes, and initiatives.
      • Provide ad hoc analysis for technical tax matters and due diligence efforts.

      Qualifications and Experience:
      • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
      • Experience:
        • 5+ years of experience, ideally from a Big 4 background and/or with direct tax experience in a corporate setting
        • 1-2 years of experience in indirect tax (e.g., sales/use tax) within a corporate tax department or public accounting firm is preferred
      • Technical Skills:
        • Strong knowledge of U.S. tax laws and U.S. GAAP tax accounting standards, including ASC 740.
        • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and handle shifting demands with professionalism and a positive attitude.
        • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.
        • Demonstrated success in cross-functional collaboration and adapting to change.
        • Excellent project management, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
        • Effective written and verbal communication skills.

      Travel: Up to 25%

      The base salary range for this position is $90,000-$110,000. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
