      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Conduct research on complex transactions to determine appropriate accounting treatment
      - Coordinate GAAP and Statutory accounting policy activities and distribute updates on new accounting pronouncements
      - Serve as a strategic advocate for new accounting policies and procedures
      - Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to protect the integrity of financial statements
      - Manage project-based workload, setting achievements and communicating findings

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance or equivalent work experience
      - Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience
      - Public accounting experience is ideal
      - Strong communication skills to explain complex technical matters
      - Ability to strategically approach issues and advocate for the business

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience with GAAP & Statutory accounting
      - Familiarity with consolidation guidance, such as VOE/VIE analysis
      - Experience with investments
      - CPA or other applicable certifications
