      Duties: Draw on experience/knowledge with automotive or software engineering, Agile Project Management, or the autonomous vehicle (AV) industry to collaborate closely with program leadership and cross-functional stakeholders across Motional Engineering (Hardware, Software), Product, Safety, Strategy and Regulatory areas to scope and define program-level requirements, timelines and deliverables. Utilize software management, software project management, Atlassian toolchain, Microsoft Project, or other project management tools/processes to manage technology development projects through a structured product development process, including development of project schedules and management of project budgets and deliverables. Build AV development roadmaps that incorporate customer requirements, engineering constraints, technical and strategic development plans. Lead and work with cross-functional teams to facilitate technical discussions, align on key requirements, and synchronize timelines to achieve timing, design and AV performance objectives. Manage day-to-day program execution, tracking progress against business and program-level milestones, driving key decisions at the leadership and working-level, addressing program blockers, and resolving inefficiencies. Proactively identify program risks and mitigations, working with teams to develop action plans and drive escalations to bring issues to closure. Define KPIs (key performance index) and metrics to track progress towards milestones and program goals. Facilitate structured problem-solving activities; escalate issues to senior management in a timely fashion. Communicate and collaborate with senior leadership in regular forums, providing clear and concise recommendations that capture impact and drive decision making. Work extensively with project management tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and SmartSheets. May telecommute from any US location. Requirements: Master’s degree in information technology management, computer engineering, robotics, or a closely related technology/engineering field plus 2 years of experience in automotive or software engineering, Agile Project Management, or the autonomous vehicle industry reflecting demonstrable ability in the skill sets described above. Salary range: one hundred twenty-five thousand to one hundred forty-five thousand dollars. This position is eligible for employee referral programs.
