What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Drive requirement discovery by partnering with product owners and stakeholders to define business and technical requirements
- Author and maintain well-decomposed, testable user stories with clear acceptance criteria
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning and daily stand-ups
- Actively support or lead project delivery, tracking progress and resolving roadblocks
- Prioritize and refine product backlogs in collaboration with Product Owners and Scrum Masters
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in Agile software development environments
- Demonstrated experience in managing successful software delivery efforts
- Deep understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and software development life cycle (SDLC)
- Proven ability to write robust user stories and acceptance criteria that drive delivery quality
- Hands-on experience with tools like Jira, Confluence, or equivalent platforms
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in delivery management or coordination on complex software projects
- Background in government or enterprise-scale project delivery
- Familiarity with Section 508 Accessibility guidelines
- Agile certifications (CSM, CSPO, SAFe) and experience in dual-role environments (e.g., BA/Scrum Master)
- Technical background including a BS in Computer Science or related field
