  Senior Technology Strategy Manager

  Therefore, the technology strategy is a foundational pillar of the success of Amadeus business and the responsibility of its engineering leadership team.

  Strategy team formulates the transversal technology strategy to serve Amadeus, customers, and partners, while working closely with the leadership of technology and business units.

  As part of the team, the Senior Technology Strategy Manager leads the strategic mission on technology subjects and supports the Head of Technology Strategy in facilitation of annual strategy process in the department.

  Your Main Responsibilities

  • Drive strategy projects.

  • Structure a project and conduct appropriate analysis to deliver strategic insights and recommendations for senior leadership to make key decisions.

  • Manage the relationships and ensure buy-in with key project stakeholders.

  • Present strategic recommendations at relevant forums.

  • Contribute to strategic initiatives driven by Business Units and Corporate Strategy.

  • Work as a team member & proactively support others when needed (e.g., innovations, Tech Watch, communications, TTI portfolio management).

  • Lead the mentorship of an apprentice.

  About the ideal candidate

  Education

  • Master’s degree or MBA from a renowned academic institution with excellent academic record.

  Relevant work experience

  • 5+ years in Tier 1-2 Consulting Firm, Strategy, Commercial finance, or Portfolio management with Project leadership responsibilities.

  Specific competencies

  • Mastering Strategy toolbox.

  • Strong interest in technology topics and understanding of key concepts.

  • Strong team player with extensive international work experience.

  • Project management skills.

  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, in English. Knowledge of French, Spanish or German is a plus.
