What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Ensure imports and exports comply with local Customs and government regulations and internal standards
- Lead and mentor junior analysts, providing strategic guidance and support
- Execute the trade second person review (2PR) program and manage related inquiries
- Collaborate with the Trade Audit team and support internal import/export audits
- Identify opportunities for trade compliance process improvements and implement necessary changes
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree preferred; relevant experience may substitute for degree
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a related field; candidates without a degree should have 8+ years
- In-depth knowledge of US Customs regulations and related experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft products including Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
- Solid project management skills and strong analytical abilities
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Trade-related certificate or Customs Broker License
- Familiarity with other partner government agency trade regulations
- Prior experience with global trade management systems like SAP GTS
- Demonstrated leadership and supervisory skills
- Ability to handle high volumes of work while maintaining performance standards
