      We are looking for a Treasury Middle Office Analyst (m/f/d) for the Vienna HQ to support the Treasury, Funding and Financial Risk management areas with timely analysis and ad-hoc reports to facilitate management decisions. In this role, you maintain an overview of the activities in the Group Treasury area from a risk management perspective. Your analysis and advice takes into consideration the implications for Group Treasury as well as Borealis Group. You provide effective, timely and high quality advice and analysis to management, ensuring execution and follow up. You have excellent communication and presentation skills, you enjoy working in a diverse and multinational team, and you are proficient with financial modelling, Treasury Management and ERP systems.       Your core responsibilities are:

      • Risk management of Borealis’ exposures and hedging activities, risk control and surveillance of risk limits;
      • The Treasury Middle Office Analyst supports the front office by processing transactions to ensure transactions are executed, booked and settled appropriately, ensuring timely and accurate financial transactions;
      • Identifying and resolving issues associated with data reconciliation, limit breaches and/or compliance breaches;
      • Assessment and prediction of financial risks and returns;
      • Financial modelling to predict outcomes;
      • Involvement in the negotiations and financial structuring of transactions;
      • Preparing legal documents and prospectuses;
      • Liaising with accountants, lawyers, financial experts and regulatory bodies;
      • Contributing to competitive bid proposals and formal presentations;
      • Accurate and timely reporting, analysis, forecasts and proposals for different courses of action;
      • Advanced data processing and visualization skills for the preparation of executive reports, identifying improvement opportunities to ensure data quality;
      • Main expert of the Treasury management software, supporting continuous improvement of existing IT systems;
      • Lead function for implementing IT system changes, documentation and upgrades based on succinct research and recommendations.

      About you

      You are the right candidate for this role, if you

      • are naturally curious, innovative, open to the world, and enjoy working in an international environment. You care about yourself and others. You want to progress and make a difference as part of a great team;
      • have an university degree in finance, engineering, or economics and you are fluent in English at business level, both spoken and written;
      • have 3 to 7 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, engineering, science or legal roles;
      • have strong financial modelling skills and a good knowledge of accounting and treasury principles. Last but not least, you are excellent in compiling, analyzing and presenting data.

      We offer a role specific compensation and a competitive salary and fringe benefit package reflecting your profile, experience and the specifics of the country/location you apply for. With appropriate education and experience, we offer for Austria a competitive compensation based on the collective labor agreement of EUR 69.600 annual gross salary. In addition, we offer a yearly bonus and a voluntary company pension plan.
