What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Underwrite new and renewal business for life sciences accounts across multiple lines of coverage
- Assess risk and make underwriting decisions in accordance with company guidelines
- Document underwriting decisions in internal systems and communicate coverage options to agents
- Identify opportunities for account rounding and cross-selling additional products
- Collaborate with colleagues and maintain proactive communication with agents
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 5 years of underwriting experience in small or middle market Life Sciences
- Strong knowledge of property and casualty coverages and underwriting principles
- Experience with Professional Lines, Cyber, and Products Liability is highly desired
- Excellent relationship-building and communication skills
- High level of responsiveness and commitment to delivering outstanding service

- Previous experience working with underwriting assistants and cross-functional teams
