      Why this role is important to us

      This position will report to and work closely with the group’s Global Head of Investment Content, fellow members of the content team, as well as other interdepartmental teams across the Marketing group.

      What you will be responsible for

      As Senior Investment Writer and Content Strategist, you will:

      • Write and edit articles and white papers in collaboration with investment professionals; gather feedback and manage approvals.
      • Manage editorial projects from conception through production, layout, and compliance.
      • Lead content development for integrated, thematic marketing campaigns, including campaigns based on third-party research.
      • Develop materials including infographics, videos, and web landing pages, in collaboration with colleagues on the investment, social media, design, digital, channel marketing, and video-production teams.
      • Develop content strategy for key marketing initiatives, in collaboration with UX specialists, designers, channel marketers, and other contributors and stakeholder.
      • Engage with channel marketers, sales team members, and investment professionals to develop content plans; execute those plans.
      • Contribute to the design of cross-functional editorial and production processes, and support their rollout and execution.
      • Contribute to the development of the firm’s editorial agenda for content, including ongoing macroeconomic and market commentary.
      • Deliver successfully within an agile environment; demonstrate the flexibility and adaptability to operate effectively in such an environment.

      • 10+ years of experience in business-to-business writing and editing for sophisticated audiences.
      • Superb communication skills, including excellent listening skills.

      • Very detail oriented; paying close attention to details.

      • Experience with a wide range of communication forms, media, and distribution channels.
      • Comfort with data and analysis; the ability to communicate complex ideas with clarity, simplicity, and style; the ability to gauge audience needs and tailor content to specific use cases.
      • Experience with publishing and communications practices; understanding of concepts including voice, tone, and stylistic consistency, and an ability to adapt and develop these concepts to suit various contexts.
      • Understanding of marketing practices, methods, and measurements.
      • Curiosity and some knowledge of investment management, markets, and the economy.
      • A strong sense of integrity and a wish to adhere to the highest standards of quality.
      • Ability to work independently, manage multiple streams of work, focus on finding effective solutions, adapt to change, and evolve the content team’s overall remit and approach to its work.

      Education & Preferred Qualifications

      • Bachelor’s Degree. MBA a plus.
      • Experience in Financial Services; familiarity with and interest in investment management topics. Knowledge of investment management industry a plus.
      • Experience working with remote, offshore teams.

      Salary Range:

      $100,000 - $167,500 Annual

      The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
