- QUICKLY CLEAR DIRTY TABLE SETTINGS AND PREPARE TABLE FOR RESETTING. PROMPTLY AND CONSISTENTLY RESET ALL SERVICEWARE AS PRESCRIBED.
- ASSIST IN THE STOCKING OF SERVER STATIONS.
- ASSIST SERVER WITH FOOD & BEVERAGE SERVICE TO ENSURE GUEST SATISFACTION.
- TRANSPORT ALL DIRTY TABLEWARE FROM DINING ROOM TO DISHWASHING AREA FOR PROPER CLEANING.
- DUE TO THE NATURE OF THE HOSPITALITY INDUSTRY, EMPLOYEES MAY BE REQUIRED TO WORK VARYING SCHEDULES TO REFLECT THE BUSINESS NEEDS OF THE HOTEL.
- PERFORM ANY GENERAL CLEANING TASKS USING STANDARD HOTEL CLEANING PRODUCTS AS ASSIGNED BY SUPERVISOR TO ADHERE TO HEALTH STANDARDS.
- FOLDING NAPKINS FOR ALL MEAL PERIODS THROUGHOUT THE DAY TO MAINTAIN AN ADEQUATE SUPPLY.
- PERFORM ALL ASSIGNED SIDEWORK TO INCLUDE REPLENISHING CONDIMENTS AND RESTOCKING SIDESTANDS IN ASSISTANCE TO THE FOOD SERVERS.
- PERFORM OTHER DUTIES AS REQUESTED, SUCH AS CLEANING UNEXPECTED SPILLS, ANSWERING TELEPHONES AND TAKING ROOM SERVICE ORDERS, HANDLING SPECIAL GUEST REQUESTS, HELPING TO MAINTAIN AND ORGANIZE BUFFET, GREETING AND SEATING GUESTS AND ENSURING GUEST SATISFACTION ACCORDING TO HILTON GUIDELINES.
- KNOWLEDGE OF THE APPROPRIATE TABLE SETTINGS AND SERVICEWARE.
- ABILITY TO UNDERSTAND AND COMMUNICATE ENGLISH TO COMPREHEND AND RESPOND TO BASIC GUEST REQUESTS.
- ABILITY TO GRASP, LIFT AND/OR CARRY, OR OTHERWISE, TRANSPORT UP TO 50 LBS. THROUGH A CROWDED ROOM.
- ABILITY TO MOVE OR PUSH GOODS ON A HAND CART/TRUCK WEIGHING A MAXIMUM OF 200 LBS.
- HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA OR EQUIVALENT PREFERRED.
- BUSSING EXPERIENCE PREFERRED.
- CLEANING CHEMICALS, STANDARD RESTAURANT EQUIPMENT INCLUDING SODA GUN, COFFEE MACHINES AND TOASTERS.
