      Pay Range:

      $48,838 - $73,257

      ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY:

      This position plans, develops, and administers the day-to-day operations of The Salvation Army programs in Lee County.

      Key Responsibilities:

      • Manages all aspects of the day-to-day operations of the Lee County Service Center.
      • Works with the Council and Area Commander to determine scope of program and plans for program development.
      • Spends time in the community to promote The Salvation Army services and needs.
      • Works in conjunction with the Director of Development to carry out special fundraising events and campaigns.
      • Works in conjunction with the Communication Director to issue information to local media as needed to alert the community to the needs of The Salvation Army and its clients.

      WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR IN YOU:

      • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in management, business, or related field and
      • Three years of experience managing staff and operations of a program or
      • Any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

      Other:

      • Valid State Driver’s License
      • Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) approval by The Salvation Army required.
      • Approved background check report required.

      Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:

      Ability to meet attendance requirements. Ability to read, write, and communicate the English language effectively. Ability to operate various general office equipment including a telephone, computer, copier, and adding machine. Ability to work well under the pressure of deadlines. Ability to follow instructions and work independently with limited supervision. Duties are usually performed seated. Sitting may be relieved by brief or occasional periods of standing or walking. Limited amount of physical effort required associated with walking, standing, lifting, and carrying light objects (less than 50 lbs.) 5-10% of work time.

Work is usually performed in a normal office environment where there are little or no physical discomforts associated with changes in weather or discomforts associated with noise, dust, dirt, and the like, but not limited to the office environment.
