      Overview

      This main purpose of the role is to drive the wholistic and integrated End-to-End Supply Chain and Business planning agendas, specifically targeting best practise, optimization, and synergy for

      1)the Service agenda across MAKE, MOVE, SELL and planning,

      2) S&OE/S&OP cycles,

      3) Integrated Business Planning.

      The role will enhance & leverage business and functional strategies to engineer a Service-focused business operating model & metrics, to ensure we mitigate revenue, volume & performance losses within a rapidly changing environment, while generating & executing tactics & strategies to improve our position towards our aspirational goals.


      Responsibilities

      The role will focus on three critical pillars;
      1. The integrated Service delivery across all business and market units
      • Own the Tier 1 Service metrics per BU & drive AMESA Sector delivery – Demand Compliance (DC), Customer Fill Rate (CFR), and On-Time & In Full (OTIF), including mapping, tracking, target setting (Aspiration & Annual)
      • Own the Service metrics strategy & evolution of volume promoted upwards through the metric hierachies/tiers
      • Own the Tier 2 Service-enabling metrics per BU & ultimate AMESA Sector delivery – Master Production Plan adherence (MPS), Schedule Attainment (SA), MPS to SA cascade, Inventory adherence (granular),
      • Coordinate cross-functional reviews, assessments & action plans to prevent service disruptions & increase service delivery capability
      • Develop critical tactics & strategies to drive Service delivery in-line with our strategic aspirations
      • Lead the external collaboration with industry & peer companies to identify benchmarking, intelligence and strategies, to future-proof our Service delivery
      • Collaborate with planning teams to revise/re-configure systems to fine-tune service enablement

      2. The role will support the full integrated planning agenda by driving best practices to sustainably implement the Sales and Operations Execution (S&OE) and Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) agenda, to deliver optimized costs, incremental productivity, and improve service and efficiency.
      • Develop AMESA’s S&OE and S&OP Strategy, in line with Planning & broader SPL strategies
      • Support the BU S&OE and S&OP leads – DMR & SMR primarily, with PMR support as secondary
      • Leverage the use of critical tools & systems to create S&OE and S&OP dasboards, summary reports, insights & intelligence
      • Replicate policies across BUs, and build policies where gaps exist
      • Support key S&OP projects - data collection of project requirements, facilitate S&OP Creation and Training on new project system functionalities, support cut-over activities for mock-loads, facilitate UAT’s with market and Sector IT
      • Develop & maintain S&OE/S&OP process adherance & maturity scorecards

      3. Integrated Business Planning (IBP)
      • Drive the mature market sustain agenda and support capability-building workshops
      • Lead the Financial Planning optimization transformation from a Supply Chain perspective – project & sustain
      • Support the Sector Planning lead by driving end-to-end Supply Chain planning optimization by owning the short-term and long-term project design and scoping timelines as per the developed Strategy
      • Support the value creation identification & delivery quantification

      4. Integrated & Cross-Functional analysis & Deep Dives, influence & collaboration to support the 3 critical pillar agendas
      • Conducting the relevant market analysis, economic factors and investigations for business requests to support and inform planning strategies.
      • Support any data analysis needed to generate insights for the Demand and Supply Planning Leads to drive an end-to-end approach.
      • Conduct quarterly benchmarking exercises across DP and SP, global and external companies.
      • Bridge between Demand Planning, Supply Planning, JDA Sustain team and Markets for queries, new functionality, and market insights.


      Qualifications

      • 10 years of Planning (SP/DP), Planning or Operations experience (Preferably FMCG)
      • 2-4 years S&OE/S&OP active involvement
      • Systems literacy & high learning elasticity
      • Computer literacy; software application and simulation models
      • Proficiency in data analysis and familiarity with planning software/tools.
      • Intermediate/Advanced Excel
      • Strong numerical and analytical skills
      • Strong communication & interpersonal skills, and adaptability to multicultural exposure
      • Ability to coordinate and influence from a remote location
      • Good presentation and facilitation skills.
