  ServiceNow Developer / Engineer (CMDB Focus)

  Chandler, AZ (Hybrid – Greater Phoenix Area)
  Full-Time | Contract-to-Hire Option Available
  Salary: $90,000 – $130,000 (DOE)

  Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow solutions with a primary focus on CMDB, Discovery, and Service Mapping.

  • Integrate CMDB with ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, and SAM modules to improve data accuracy and operational visibility.

  • Configure CI classes, relationship models, identification & reconciliation rules, and Discovery patterns.

  • Build automation using JavaScript, Glide APIs, Flow Designer, and Orchestration tools.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to CMDB data, integrations, MID Servers, Discovery, and platform performance.

  • Create and maintain technical documentation, design specifications, and solution diagrams.

  ✔ Must-Have Skills & Experience

  1. 3+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development or engineering experience.

  2. Strong understanding of CMDB structure, CI relationships, and Discovery patterns.

  3. Proficiency with JavaScript, Glide APIs, Flow Designer, and ServiceNow configuration.

  4. Experience with at least one major module: ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, or SAM.

  5. Knowledge of Discovery, MID Server configuration, and integration protocols (REST, SOAP, JDBC).

  6. Ability to produce technical documentation, solution designs, logic flows, and architecture descriptions.

  
  

  Preferred Experience (Nice-to-Haves)

  • Experience with Service Mapping

  • Background in enterprise integrations

  • Strong understanding of ITIL frameworks

  • ServiceNow certifications (CSA, CAD, CIS–Discovery, CIS–CMDB, CIS–ITSM, etc.)
