      PRIMARY PURPOSE

      The ServiceNow Platform Architect is a technical leader responsible for providing consultive leadership to the ServiceNow Platform Team. This role ensures alignment of the ServiceNow platform with business strategy, governance decisions, and overall best practices. The ServiceNow Platform Architect documents the platform, reviews new requirements for potential impact, and provides controls to ensure the most appropriate technical solutions are leveraged within the platform while minimizing technical debt.

      Major Responsibilities

      • Responsible for creating and maintaining a detailed view of the existing architecture.
      • Responsible for aligning ServiceNow platform capabilities with business strategy and the overall roadmap. Evaluates existing processes and internal functions to identify areas for improvement and suggest enhancements to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
      • Works closely with stakeholders, and IT leadership, to create a robust platform to ensures that the IT systems support the overall business strategy and operational needs.
      • Leads the analysis of the impact of new requests and provides technical direction and architectural controls to assure effective implementation in compliance with design and quality standards.
      • Leads the ServiceNow Platform Team in implementing technical best practices, policies, and procedures.
      • Participates in code review processes, makes recommendations for improvement, and ensures architectural consistency across multiple project initiatives.
      • Recommends tools, processes, and methodologies to improve efficiency. Research emerging technologies and formulates recommendations.
      • Mentors and coaches' teammates in workflow and functionality on enhancements to the platform and/or processes and participate in implementing new solutions on the platform.
      • Maintains expertise and knowledge of technology trends and technology landscape in the healthcare industry.

      MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS

      Education

      Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

      Certification / Registration / License

      ServiceNow System Administrator Certificate

      Work Experience

      Minimum of 7 years of experience within the ServiceNow platform

      Knowledge / Skills / Abilities

      Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues

      Proven experience in designing and implementing ServiceNow solutions, custom applications, and integrations

      Demonstrated experience leading technical teams and managing complex projects

      Experience in Agile methodology

      Experience in working with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions

      Strong technical abilities and a sound understanding of business strategy and policies governing the ServiceNow platform.

      Strong technical foundation in ServiceNow, either as a platform admin or developer

      Excellent written and verbal communication

      Experience in Enterprise Security and Architecture, Enterprise and/or IT Service Management.

      Proficiency in ServiceNow development and support

      Strong requirements-gathering experience.

      Proficiency in scripting languages such as JavaScript, Web Services, HTML, CSS, and Jelly

      PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORKING CONDITIONS

      This position requires travel, therefore, will be exposed to weather and road conditions.

      Operates all equipment necessary to perform the job.

      Exposed to a normal office environment.

      Education

      Advanced degree in a relevant discipline

      Certification / Registration / License

      Certified Technical Architect

      Work Experience

      Proven experience in an architect role

      Annual Base Pay: $120,328.00-$188,544.00
