- Validate the ServiceNow application functionality built by the developer(s) and the system administrator(s) prior to promoting configuration into production.
- Develop, maintain, and execute quality test plans, and test cases for various testing activities. (Unit, functional, integration, system, regression, and performance testing).
- Develop test cases utilizing ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF).
- Responsible for the execution of quality testing activities to support ServiceNow projects, enhancements, and defects with close interaction with the ServiceNow platform team
- Manage the defect’s identified during testing interacting with the ServiceNow platform team on the validation of the fixes made.
- Provide quality testing effort estimates to project managers and scrum masters.
- Interface with customers in providing guidance during user acceptance testing, including test case execution and documentation
- Prior hands-on experience testing and training ITOM components is a plus
- Coordinates UAT Testing with the clients
- Keeps a repository of all test cases and test artifacts
- Ensures that the defined QA processes meet auditing requirements
- Continuously evaluates testing processes to identify areas of improvement
- Bachelor's degree with at least 5 years of ServiceNow training and QA experience
- Strong understanding of ServiceNow platform and it’s various modules
- Training and testing experience on platform capabilities and offerings including ITSM and complex integrations.
- Experience with ServiceNow ATF is a plus.
- Experience working within different automated testing frameworks, Java JUnit,
- Selenium, TestNG and other open-sources is a plus
- Experience with the agile methodology for software development teams
- ServiceNow Certification – Certified System Administrator
- ServiceNow ATF Mico-certification is a plus
- Certification in the testing and training space
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Successful teamwork experience & demonstrated leadership ability
Role: ServiceNow Tester
Location: Remote (candidates from British Columbia are preferred)
Duration: 6 months
Pay: $60 INC. CAD
