What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing shipments
- Ensure safe, secure, and compliant packaging for all outbound materials
- Process shipments according to internal guidelines and industry best practices
- Review and interpret shipping documents, invoices, and orders to prioritize and assign tasks
- Communicate professionally with internal teams, suppliers, and customers
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift up to 70lbs
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Previous warehouse experience (forklift, packing, and measuring)
- Basic math, reading, and computer skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- A safety-first mindset and CPR/First Aid training is a plus
- Knowledge of shipping processes, metals handling, and documentation
- Experience with SAP, ISO standards, and lean practices is a big advantage
