Short Film / Video Editing Coach for Middle School Student

One-on-one coaching session (approximately 2 hours total) during winter break.

No filming required — the project is fully based on still images, historical photos, graphics, text, narration, and simple transitions

Help my child organize and incorporate her research materials and photos (all from credible sources) into a cohesive short documentary

Teach basic editing skills such as sequencing, timing, adding titles, captions, narration, and music
-
Casual, supportive environment — perfect for someone who enjoys mentoring

College student studying film, media arts, communications, or a related field
-
Experience with beginner-friendly editing tools such as iMovie, Clipchamp, CapCut, or similar programs is preferred

Comfortable with creating documentary-style videos using photos, text, and audio

Enjoys working with kids and can explain concepts simply

Responsible, friendly, and reliable

Any experience you have with video editing or documentary-style projects
