What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Administer SHP pharmacy benefits in coordination with Pharmacy Director and Operations Manager
- Monitor and analyze aberrations in pharmacy benefits to ensure accuracy and performance
- Communicate issues and findings to appropriate stakeholders
- Utilize knowledge of electronic pharmacy claims processing for benefit administration
- Provide exceptional customer service to SHP customers
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- Minimum of 5 years' experience as a pharmacy technician
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) required, or must attain certification within 6 months of hire date
- Proficiency in customer service skills
- Knowledge of pharmacy benefit administration processes
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 1 year of experience in a Health Maintenance Organization (HMO) or insurance industry
