Job Description
- Req#: SIOPD005605
- Partner with Commercial and Program Management to translate market signals, customer commitments, and quoting trends into a structured, forward-looking demand forecast.
- Lead monthly demand reviews and align stakeholders on forecast assumptions, gaps to budget, and upcoming rate shifts for both OEM and Repair business segments.
- Challenge commercial assumptions (win rates, ramp curves, attrition) and quantify risk/opportunity ranges.
- Analyze and publish forecast performance metrics (accuracy, bias, forecast-to-ship ratio) across key customers and programs.
- Provide a Voice of the Customer through delivery performance metrics (OTD, TAT, Arrears, FG Buffer Adherence) to the SIOP process.
- Drive improvements in demand segmentation (e.g., MTO vs. MTS), forecast granularity, and risk ranges
- Reconcile forecast to revenue targets in collaboration with Finance and Supply Chain
- Build tools and dashboards to monitor forecast health, booking-to-forecast alignment, and demand risks
- Support strategic planning and scenario modeling (e.g., ramp profiles, entry into service, program attrition)
- Coach demand owners at the site and regional levels to follow best practices and standard review cadences
- 7+ years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, or SIOP in a manufacturing or aerospace environment.
- Demonstrated success working with commercial and cross-functional teams to validate demand assumptions.
- Strong fluency in analytics, forecasting tools, and ERP systems.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and influencing skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related.
- APICS, IBF, or equivalent certification preferred.
