      We are looking for a dynamic team member to join the DHL Express Global Head Office team as a Senior Project Manager, Industry solutions, Global Customer Operations.

      In this role, you will support the DHL Express FOCUS strategy, global management team and Network Operations executive committee endorsed customer network projects:

      • Deliver world-class customer enhanced solutions and service capability.
      • Drive network development preparation, UAT and BETA pilot testing of directed projects/programs across operations, customers and facilitate any cross-functional touchpoint needed.

      You will also act as a primary liaison and facilitator on behalf of the Customer Operations, Customer/Customer facing functions for Network Operations specific projects. You are responsible to oversee and drive initiatives from project launch to business deployment for new/enhanced network service capability.

      The role will have a focus on Life Science Healthcare and will be involved in focused area supporting First and last mile enhanced network operational capability for Pharma and other Life Science business opportunities. Along with any other Network Operations Customer Project initiatives as directed.

      HOW DO YOU CONTIRBUTE TO OUR SUCCESS?

      · Identify, champion, develop and coordinate network customer projects and programs

      · Scope may include Customer Global Network Operations initiatives which will enable/enhance service offering/capability for our customers, drive operational efficiency and operational cost improvement ensuring that quality, performance meets customer and network business expectations.

      · Think out of the box” to provide alternative but compliant solutions for identified First and Last mile new /enhanced capabilities within Ground operations. Scope of project initiatives may include the DHL Express Network operations, and /or 3rd Party Vendor solutions/management.

      · Manage agreed global customer network projects (and teams directly where agreed) together with virtual regional and country Customer Operations Group, cross-functional stakeholders as applicable.

      · Ensure all project stakeholder management, project process as per Global Standard Operating Platform (SOP) Express, Global SOP and other internal process such as investment approval board/functional approval steering groups.

      · May be included as lead Project Manager to manage approved project budget and change requests as required for funds.

      · Ensure executive, steering board communications.

      · The incumbent must be able to lead Customer Operations Group projects and initiatives within their immediate team as well as being able to coordinate regions and country Operations management and commercial teams to take necessary actions for customer projects.

      WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE

      · Degree qualifications in Logistics, Business management, Economics, Technology/User Experience design or equivalent industry experience in a related field.

      • Prince or equivalent Project Management certification.

      · 8-10 years of relevant regional / global working experience, preferably at management levels in network operations/ general management, demonstrating kills and knowledge in the following areas:

      a) Network Operations

      o Critical to role scope is Ground operations network front line Supervisor/ management experience.

      o Strong understanding of operational process, procedures per Global SOP and the IT domains associated.

      o Vendor management, including the Procurement processes to implementation of successful Vendor/contract acceptor.

      b) Project Management

      o Proven experience in Agile project methodologies.

      o Proven experience in small, medium or large-scale project / program planning / management experience.

      o Identify, develop, and manage Customer Network operational project initiatives.

      c) Information/Technology:

      o Understanding and experience of Global Network operations eGap systems, services.

      o Digitalization exposure: Training/knowledge/projects.

      o Ability to communicate (both written and presentation) at all levels of the organisation, external parties, customers, stakeholders, steerboard.

      o Technical skillsets in the following would be beneficial:

      § Proficient with Data Visualization tools (eg. Power BI, Data Factory);

      § Develop functional data visualizations / dashboards;

      § MS Office - intermediate/advanced.

      d) Customer Relationships:

      “Customer obsession” by starting with the customer and work backward and able to maintain balance versus DHL Express landscape and Strategic Focus priorities.

      e) Planning & Organizing:

      o Attend to customer requirements within project scope, solution and endorsements, set clear and realistic goals and objectives.

      o Establishes a course of action and a sequence of steps to ensure that activities and objectives are efficiently achieved. Is structured with good personal organization. Schedules time effectively and use efficient work methods and tools.

      o Work closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and propose solutions.

      f) Analysis:

      o Analyses written and numerical/statistical information accurately.

      o Considers all relevant information before drawing conclusions.

      o Assesses feasibility, identifies patterns and trends in data. Makes rational decisions and recommendations.

      o Always find ways to simplify.
