      Overview

      At Ntrepid, we are a mission-driven provider of managed attribution technologies, specifically designed to support the national security community's operations in the most demanding online environments. We are seeking an SOC Analyst Intern to join our Cybersecurity team for the Summer of 2024.

      This internship offers an exciting opportunity for students interested in gaining hands-on experience in cybersecurity within a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The selected candidate will work closely with our Cybersecurity team to assist in various tasks related to maintaining the security of our employees, systems, and data.

      This is a paid opportunity with the ability to work fully remote in one of these states at the start of the internship: Alabama, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Kansas, Maryland, Michigan, Nebraska, North Carolina, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Wisconsin, and West Virginia.

      Responsibilities

      • Assist in monitoring and analyzing security logs and alerts.
      • Help implement and maintain security tools and technologies.
      • Conduct vulnerability assessments and assist in remediation efforts.
      • Participate in incident response activities as needed.
      • Support the development and implementation of security policies and procedures.
      • Assist in conducting security awareness training for employees.
      • Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and best practices.


      Qualifications

      • U.S. Citizenship required.
      • Pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
      • Strong interest in cybersecurity and a desire to learn.
      • Basic understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
      • Familiarity with cybersecurity tools and technologies is a plus.
      • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
      • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
      • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
      • Relevant coursework or prior internship experience in cybersecurity is preferred.
      • Secret Clearance is preferred although not required.
