      The Social Media Content Specialist is an integral part of the Marketing team, being nestled under the PR and Influencer center of excellence. This position is responsible for working with the team to develop and execute the social media strategy, content for the organization across all relevant channels while tracking and reporting results. Key components of the overall social media program is the management and growth of the Alkami employee advocacy program, goals around specified metrics including engagement rate and topic ownership. The campaigns of these programs are based on business objectives of Alkami and the goals around the PR and Influencer initiatives. Additionally, this role will support the Influencer program, public relations efforts and Share of Voice (SOV) initiatives to drive the Alkami brand presence in the marketplace. The topics to be promoted range from culture, to research and thought leadership, public relations, events, product, the FIsionaries podcast and more.

      This position will also be responsible for strategy, plan writing, content creation, posting and execution of all social media pertaining to Alkami Co:lab, the company's industry conference that occurs annually.
      Key Responsibilities & Duties:
      • Creates Alkami's social media strategy and builds the brand's presence across various social media platforms
      • Builds and executes a plan to create and share social media content across all Alkami social media platforms
      • Takes the lead to write, edit, produce and or develop all social media content
      • Write social media copy to promote assets, events, thought leadership, news, etc.
      • Writes and edits blogs and articles to be used on social media, specifically LinkedIn
      • Creates an overall video strategy, manages production of video and shares via the social platforms
      • Engages with target audiences to include influencers, customers, media outlets, etc and drives results from goals
      • Researches and stays abreast of new algorithms and any changes in the operational structure of social platforms
      • Maintains an advanced level of expertise and professionalism through the Alkami brand voice across the most engaged social channels such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, X (Twitter), YouTube, Threads, etc.
      • Increases social media presence while achieving the engagement goals
      • Works with team to achieve top quadrant topic ownership on LinkedIn for select keywords
      • Execute social media campaigns from ideation to measurement
      • Builds out a social media schedule in advance on a quarterly basis
      • Creates, maintains, and publishes the social media calendar, ensuring consistency across social media channels and with all external marketing channels.
      • Works with the campaign team to create an integrated strategy via LinkedIn for paid and organic activity
      • Measures, benchmarks, analyzes, and reports on content and channel performance both qualitatively and quantitatively
      • Create and execute influencer campaigns from beginning to end to include identifying the most influential industry names and develop relationships with them to be Alkami brand advocates on social platforms
      • Ideate through industry trends and collaborate cross-functionally content opportunities that build relevance and increase awareness and consideration.
      • Works closely with content creators from the product marketing, brand, campaign and web teams to compose impactful and appealing copy for both social and influencer campaigns
      • Identifies opportunities to amplify influencer and user-generated content across social media as well as other relevant marketing channels
      • Works within any budgets aligned to social media projects
      • Monitors trends across all social media channels (paid and organic)
      • Manages the social media management platform and serves as the key contact for the vendor relationship or any other agencies or partners related to influencer or social
      • Proofreads and edits content before publishing.
      • Ensures that SEO and SMO strategies are effectively implemented.


      Qualifications:
      • Bachelor's degree in literature, journalism, marketing, communications, or similar/equivalent work experience.
      • A minimum of 5 years of experience in social media, influencer marketing, communications, public relations or for a SaaS company.
      • Financial industry experience preferred but not required
      • Past experience in social media for a public company preferred but not required
      • In-depth knowledge of social channels such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, X (Twitter), YouTube, Threads, etc., required.
      • Experience with social media management platforms such as SproutSocial, as well as tracking and monitoring required
      • Experience in content creation, writing, video strategy and social media for events/tradeshows required
      • Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs
      • Proficiency in APA style writing and editing

      The salary range for this position is: $76,800 - $115,200
