      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Provide supervision and leadership for social work staff handling Family and Investigative Assessments for cases of Abuse, Neglect, or Dependency
      - Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, and regulations at local, state, and federal levels
      - Manage personnel matters including hiring, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions
      - Monitor case records and court reports for accuracy and compliance with legal standards
      - Collaborate with community stakeholders to develop and sustain relevant service programs

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Master’s degree in social work with two (2) years of directly related experience; or a bachelor’s degree in social work with three (3) years of directly related experience; or a bachelor’s degree in a human services field with four (4) years of directly related experience; or a bachelor’s degree in any field with five (5) years of directly related experience
      - Knowledge of casework supervision methods and principles
      - Extensive knowledge of laws and policies governing child welfare programs
      - Ability to supervise and train social workers effectively
      - Skills in promoting clear communication and coordination between staff and administration

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Bilingual in English and Spanish
      - Certificate of completion of the NCDHHS Pre-Service Training
      - Experience in program development and evaluation
