      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Supervise, monitor, and evaluate the Centralized Service Intake Unit (CSIU) workers
      - Make rapid and accurate decisions regarding abuse intakes based on Iowa Code
      - Provide consultation, guidance, and technical assistance related to child and dependent adult intakes
      - Demonstrate exceptional customer service and establish relationships with clients
      - Ensure ongoing enhancements to staff knowledge and skills through effective training

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Graduation from an accredited four-year college and four years of full-time social work experience, or equivalent experience and education
      - Bachelor’s degree in social work and three years of full-time social work experience, or a Master's degree in social work with one year of full-time experience
      - Ability to work independently and demonstrate excellent judgment and communication skills
      - Proficiency in written documentation and ability to prioritize tasks under pressure
      - Preference for bilingual candidates; additional languages should be listed in the application

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience in a social work capacity within a public or private agency
      - Familiarity with child protective services or related fields
      - Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment
      - Experience with case planning and community resource connections
      - Lived experience in foster care or social services
