      What you will do:

      In this role, you will help the Instruments Division by providing phone and email technical support to field engineers, technicians, and product support personnel who are diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, and debugging equipment, computer systems, complex software, or networked and/or wireless systems. You will respond to situations where first-line product support has failed to isolate or fix problems in malfunctioning equipment or software. You will report design, reliability, and maintenance problems or bugs to design engineering/software engineering.

      You will

      • Provide the following levels of support associated with hardware and software applications i.e.

        • Level 1 Support (e.g. general inquiries, technical questions, troubleshooting, problem reproduction and basic procedural “how-to questions)

        • Level 2 Support (e.g. installation and configuration items, technical queries such as local system set-up, applying technical solutions to challenges)

        • Level 3 Support (Medium complexity configuration and technical items)

      • Problem management – partnering with cross functional leaders to help assess root causes to technical application issues.

      • Support internal customers in any day-to-day activities.

      • Collaborate with operations and engineering to review software enhancements and provide design feedback.

      • Partner with Technical S upport, Business Unit R&D, and Field Service to help drive customer solutions.

      • Provide best in class phone and email support on a day-to-day basis with the ability to log in remotely to help problem solve for technicians and customers.

      • Maintain related user documentation / standard operating procedures.

      • Ability to work with cross-functional teams.

      • Act with integrity and confidence. Build Organization Capability by working with Supervisor to better support customers and create flexible service solutions with a goal of zero unplanned downtime.

      • Daily, weekly and monthly planning decided in partnership with Supervisor.

      • Work with Supervisor to develop skills necessary to optimally perform in current role.

      What you need

      • Bachelor’s Degree Required and 0+ years of work experience

      • Or high school diploma plus 5+ years of relevant work experience.

      • Network / I.T. / I.S. or Applications experience is preferred

      • Customer facing experience is highly desirable.

      Travel Percentage: 10%
