      Do you want to work in a fast-paced environment that operates like a startup with amazon? eero is looking for a cloud backend engineer to rapidly iterate and release new experiences to our customers on a combined cloud/iOS/android development team. Cut down on the bureaucracy and come join a team laser focused on helping eero's customers view, manage, and troubleshoot their WiFi networks.

      At eero, our mission is to serve as the central nervous system of the home. While we began by revolutionizing home WiFi, we aim to create comprehensive solutions that serve both wireless and wired connectivity needs for customers and businesses across the globe.

      Key job responsibilities
      - Quickly iterate on customer-facing features with product, design, mobile, web, and device, and qa engineers.

      - Develop cloud backend services to support user and node clients

      - Write extensible APIs for partner teams and external clients to consume

      - Lead and participate in design reviews for large-scale software architecture

      - Create tools and automation to eliminate manual work

      - Participate in an on-call rotation and work to ensure that cloud services are operationally sound
      - 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
      - 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
      - Experience programming with at least one software programming language- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
      - Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
