- 6+ years distributed cloud engineering experience in a software development environment
- Strong experience and detailed technical knowledge in PaaS engineering.
- Experience developing service-oriented architectures and web services security solutions
- Experience of implementing highly scalable systems
- Development experience in Java, Python as well as scripting languages
- Experience working with other cloud platform teams and accommodating requirements from those teams (compute, networking, search, storage).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex information in a clear, concise manner to all audiences
- Comfortable in a collaborative, agile development environment.
- Understanding of object-oriented design and SDK development, specifically within a cloud environment
- Familiarity and understanding of distributed computing and cloud-based platforms.
- Understanding of cross-functional platform feature areas in cloud platforms.
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or Physical/Analytical Sciences
Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.As a member of the software engineering org, assist in defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, debugging or designing of software applications. Provide technical leadership to other software developers. Specify, design and implement large changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs. Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise.May have project lead role and lead junior engineers.Qualifications

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $79,800 to $178,100 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
