      Job Title: Software Developer

      Job Description

      We are seeking an experienced Software Developer to join our team and drive the development of web and mobile applications, focusing on cloud-native and digital transformation initiatives. This role requires a strong technical experience, a passion for innovation, and the ability to lead in a collaborative environment.

      Responsibilities

      • Create web and mobile applications using the designated platform.
      • Extend application logic and integration interfaces with custom solutions.
      • Maintain architectural governance, quality, and consistency of applications.
      • Participate throughout the application lifecycle, from conception to deployment.
      • Test and troubleshoot applications to ensure functionality and performance.
      • Gather, analyze, and document epics and user stories from customer requirements.
      • Set up database structures and relationships, develop application workflows, and create integration interfaces via Web Services.
      • Design Graphical User Interface layouts.
      • Provide guidance to other developers on end-to-end application design, including data model, UX design, APIs, micro-services, containers, databases, and cloud services.

      Essential Skills

      • Proficiency in full stack development, JavaScript, and Java.
      • Experience in application development and web services.
      • Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
      • At least four years' experience in platform development, with a preference for Expert Certification.
      • Ability to develop desktop and mobile applications.
      • Expertise in cloud-native, microservice-based application development.
      • Experience designing RESTful APIs for superior UX and simplified system integration.
      • Understanding of cloud technologies such as AWS or Azure with expertise or certification in at least one.

      Additional Skills & Qualifications

      • Bachelor’s degree in information technology or related field.
      • Fourteen or more years of progressive professional application development experience.
      • Knowledge of multiple front-end languages and libraries such as HTML, CSS, XPath, XML, and jQuery.
      • Proficiency in multiple back-end languages including C#, and relevant frameworks like Node.js.
      • Experience with database structures and design.
      • Ability to adopt new technologies to meet application requirements.
      • Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
      • Preferred experience in federal government and defense applications, manufacturing solutions, and emerging technologies like RPA, AI/ML, IoT, and mobility/wearables.
      • Advanced knowledge of RDBMS and NoSQL databases.

      Pay and Benefits

      The pay range for this position is $170000.00 - $190000.00/yr.
