What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide primary support as the subject matter expert for z/OS operating systems and components
- Diagnose platform, software, and related product issues, conducting root cause analysis
- Support day-to-day mainframe operations, including configuration and break/fix support
- Collaborate with technical teams for integration testing of new products
- Assist in maintaining and providing technical support for Mainframe Production Control and Support Jobs
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum 5 years of experience with z/OS Systems Programming
- Minimum 5 years of experience with JES2 and z/OS Unix System Services (OMVS)
- Minimum 3 years of experience with performance monitoring and analysis of performance issues
- Minimum 3 years of experience with TSS (Top Secret Security)
- Minimum 2 years of experience with REXX
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with Informatica Power Exchange Administration
- Working knowledge of z/OS Operation and Networking (VTAM, TCP/IP)
- Familiarity with automated job scheduling and management software (JOBTRAC)
- Knowledge of configuration management tools, specifically SCLM
- Experience with TLS configuration (certificates, SSL – RSA Keys, SFTP, FTPS)
