What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable PHP APIs with a focus on RESTful services
- Develop and manage Kafka consumers for processing large volumes of data and utilize Apache Airflow for workflow orchestration
- Build edge computing solutions using Cloudflare’s serverless platform to enhance application performance
- Collaborate with front-end developers and product managers to ensure cohesive system design
- Write unit and integration tests to ensure code reliability and document APIs and workflows
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Strong proficiency in PHP
- Deep understanding of RESTful API design and implementation
- Experience with Apache Kafka and knowledge of Apache Airflow
- High school diploma or equivalent; degree in Information Technology, Business, Software Engineering, or related field preferred
- Excellent problem-solving skills and strong communication abilities
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Knowledge of additional programming languages like JavaScript or Python
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization
- Familiarity with microservices architecture and event-driven systems
