What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop and maintain the employer’s line of civil engineering applications
- Take ownership of the functionality and designs you implement
- Perform unit testing to ensure code quality and compliance with use cases
- Research and explore new technologies as needed
- Commit to continuous learning and integrating new technologies
What is Required (Qualifications):
- BS or MS in computer science, software engineering, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience designing and implementing high-quality software
- Proficient in C++ and experienced in C#
- Thorough knowledge of object-oriented programming and design patterns
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio and .NET Framework
- Knowledge of Agile and Scrum development practices
- Experience with XML and XSLT
