- Apply an expert understanding of development tools, processes, applications, programming languages and environments to assignments
- Design and develop full-stack applications using industry adopted languages and frameworks
- Enable solution modernization activities through design and development-related work items and architectural engagement.
- Have opportunities to work with modern cloud-based solutions like Salesforce and AWS.
- Provide the highest level of support for problem and issue resolution and provide technical consultation and direction to business and product team members
- Java experience designing, developing, and testing web services
- Experience with Javascript frameworks.
- Amazon Web Services (AWS) ecosystem (S3, Lambda, API Gateway, Route53, etc.)
- Containerization Technologies (Node, Kubernetes, Docker, etc.)
- CI/CD delivery pipelines (GitOps, Terraform, etc.)
- Dependency Management (Maven, Gradle, JFrog, etc.)
- Source control management (GitLab)
- Credential Management (Vault, AWS Secrets Manager, etc.)
- Testing frameworks (Junit, Mockito, JMeter, Artillery, etc.)
- Logging, Tracing, and Reporting (Splunk, Dynatrace, AWS Cloud Watch, etc.)
- Code Quality Scanning (Checkstyle, Snyk Code, etc.)
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with others
- Experience with the Salesforce platform (LWC, Apex, SOQL, etc.) and familiar with declarative tools, data management, and event-driven architectures

ResponsibilitiesThe P&C Claims Total Loss team's vision is to improve the vehicle Total Loss customer experience by creating a streamlined (touchless) approach to handling claims and processing vehicle salvage, while building a self-service customer solution for total loss settlements. We are seeking a software engineer to join our team in order to achieve that vision. The individual selected will be a part of high performing, inclusive, and engaged product team with a mission to engineer and implement advanced workflows for Auto Total Loss and Salvage in our system of engagement, Salesforce. In addition, they will be a key contributor to our overall modernization efforts through migration of services to AWS.
