What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop and maintain clean, tested, and well-documented code for the personal loan platform
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new functionalities and resolve bugs
- Design, build, and maintain RESTful APIs and service-based systems
- Write and maintain unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure software quality
- Integrate with third-party vendors and external systems for reliable functionality
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 4 years of experience with backend programming languages, preferably JavaScript/TypeScript
- Minimum of 4 years working with relational databases, including data modeling and query optimization
- Proven experience designing, building, and maintaining RESTful APIs
- Strong ownership and accountability for assigned tasks
- Excellent communication skills for conveying technical concepts to varied audiences
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with frontend technologies such as Next.js
- Familiarity with Docker and AWS for infrastructure management
- Knowledge of microservices architecture and observability tools
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to learn new technologies
- Previous experience in a fast-paced, innovative environment
