What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Build and optimize high availability, high-performance systems for large-scale data processing
- Provide a media platform to assist AI research and engineering teams in developing innovative features
- Engage with the open-source community to enhance key media tools
- Develop tools for testing, benchmarking, and debugging video and audio processing systems
- Mentor engineering team members on video and audio technologies
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 5 years of professional software development experience
- Strong understanding of digital video technologies, including formats, codecs, and processing tools
- Solid fundamentals in computer science and backend infrastructure
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated with a commitment to continuous learning and improvement
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with video transformation models and multimodal LLMs
- Familiarity with tools like ffmpeg and other video processing frameworks
- Previous experience mentoring and leading technical teams
- Contribution to open-source projects related to media engineering
