What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage data quality and oversee data intake discussions with healthcare data carriers
- Document meetings and secure sign-offs from clients and carriers
- Perform quality checks on incoming data to ensure compliance with requirements
- Analyze and profile client data, mapping it to existing databases
- Collaborate with engineers to test incoming data for accuracy and proper loading
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 2-4 years of experience in healthcare data analysis with strong data manipulation skills
- 2+ years of experience in a Data Warehouse operations organization within the Healthcare or Insurance space
- Proficiency in SQL (SSMS) and other data analysis tools
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and ability to work independently or in teams
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with software engineering best practices such as continuous integration and unit testing
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Knowledge of healthcare enrollment, medical claims, and drug claims data
- Understanding of SQL Server Integration Services and ETL processing
- Proficiency in optimizing SQL queries and working with large data sets
