What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Design, code, and test a variety of custom business applications
- Collaborate with peers to develop end-to-end testing and quality assurance procedures
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications in collaboration with analysts and management
- Mentor team members, conduct performance evaluations, and facilitate team development
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in software engineering
- 4-year degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Proven experience in designing and developing web, client-server, or n-tier business applications
- Extensive hands-on experience with data modeling, relational databases, and SQL
- Proficient in C#, ASP.NET, ADO.NET, and SQL 2000, with experience in converting classic ASP into ASP.NET
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with Plumtree Portal development
- Familiarity with component and service-based architectures (.NET, COM/DCOM, J2EE, etc.)
- Ability to adapt to rapidly evolving programming environments
- Experience in high-performance scalable transaction system programming
- Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
