What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop moderately complex code using both front-end and back-end programming languages for internal and external client software solutions
- Analyze existing applications and formulate logic for new applications, including coding and debugging programs
- Participate in client-facing meetings and vendor partnership discussions to determine solution approaches
- Advise leadership on the design and development of business application standards, ensuring compliance with Payment Card Industry (PCI) security requirements
- Assist with on-the-job training and provide expertise to software engineers
What is Required (Qualifications):
- BS in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business/Management Information Systems, or related field
- Minimum of 6 years of professional experience in coding, designing, developing, and analyzing data
- Advanced knowledge of two or more front-end and back-end programming languages and technologies
- Experience working with various APIs and external services, as well as relational and NoSQL databases
- Familiarity with database design, including DDL and DML for Oracle, MySQL, MS SQL Server, IMS, DB2, or Hadoop
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 8+ years of professional experience in coding, designing, developing, and analyzing data
- Experience with IBM Rational Tools
