What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop moderately complex code using front and/or back-end programming languages for client software solutions
- Analyze and modify existing applications or formulate logic for new applications and procedures
- Participate in client meetings and vendor discussions to determine solution approaches
- Provide advice on the design and enforcement of application standards and compliance measures
- Assist with on-the-job training and provide expertise to software engineers
What is Required (Qualifications):
- BS in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business/Management Information Systems, or related field
- Minimum of 6 years of professional experience in coding, designing, developing, and analyzing data
- Advanced knowledge of two or more front/back-end languages/technologies
- Experience with various APIs and both relational and NoSQL databases
- Familiarity with database design, specifically Oracle, and back-end technologies such as .NET and Java
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 8+ years of professional experience in coding, designing, developing, and analyzing data
- Experience with IBM Rational Tools
