What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage and mentor three to five engineers while hiring additional team members
- Provide feedback on product and technical specifications to enhance quality and efficiency
- Engage in debugging and minor coding tasks to maintain technical proficiency
- Propose and lead department-wide initiatives to improve processes and tools
- Design and improve the interview process based on team feedback and needs
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Proven experience as an engineer with a strong background in product development
- Previous experience in a leadership or management role within an engineering team
- Ability to influence decisions and coach engineers effectively
- Strong technical skills and familiarity with software development practices
- Commitment to staying up-to-date with technology trends and advancements
