What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Define controls, processes, and procedures for effective software asset management
- Monitor software usage to ensure compliance with licensing agreements and regulations
- Identify risks related to software licensing non-compliance and develop mitigation strategies
- Conduct regular software license audits and report on consumption information
- Collaborate with various departments to optimize software license requirements and deployments
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree and 6 years of related experience or equivalent combination
- Understanding of software usage rights and contractual terms
- Knowledge of IT asset management best practices, including license remediation and reconciliation
- Familiarity with ServiceNow, SharePoint, and Costpoint
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- ServiceNow SAMPro certification
- Experience in developing and implementing complex processes and goals
- Superior critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with automated asset management systems
- IAITAM Asset Management certification
