What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide specialized academic instruction (SAI) for students with disabilities
- Manage a caseload of students, including scheduling and conducting IEP meetings
- Deliver instruction online via the Class Connect Program
- Communicate regularly with students and families through various virtual platforms
- Attend in-person meetings and training sessions as required throughout the school year

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Valid California Education Specialist Instruction Credential in Mild/Moderate or Moderate/Severe Disabilities
- California English Learner Authorization certification issued by the CTC
- Must reside in California
- Ability to effectively manage a diverse caseload of students
- Commitment to providing high-quality educational support and services

- Familiarity with IEP processes and special education law
- Strong communication skills, particularly in virtual settings
- Experience working with students with disabilities in various grade levels
