      We seek a Solutions Engineer with broad experience in Networking, Collaboration, Data Center, Security, and Software-Defined Technologies to partner with our Select Territory Account Managers in a pre-sales technical role, showcasing Cisco product solutions through demonstrations and explaining features and benefits to customers and designing and configuring products to meet specific customer needs.

      In addition to technological competence, and the ability to learn quickly and stay current, the ideal candidate's interpersonal, presentation, and troubleshooting skills evoke passion and confidence

      Your Impact

      Direct account and partner responsibilities for Select accounts.

      • Keep up-to-date on relevant competitive solutions, products, and services
      • Provide technical and sales support for accounts in assigned territory.
      • Experience in leading projects in big accounts.
      • Perform technical presentations for customers, partners, and prospects.
      • Assist with the development of formal sales plans and proposals for assigned opportunities.
      • Actively participate as a specialist on the assigned Virtual Team and provide consultative support in their area of specialization to other Solutions Engineers.

      Minimum Qualifications

      • +7 years of related experience
      • Pre-Sales experience
      • Current CCNP or CCIE Certifications
      • Knowledge and demonstrated operating experience in one of the following areas of specialization: Unified Communications, Video, Campus LAN & WLAN, WAN, SD-WAN, Security, BYOD architectures, Data Center Technologies, Big Data, Analytics, SDN, Server Architecture, Virtualization, Programmability.
      • Availability to travel up to 50% to customer sites and corporate offices

      Preferred Qualifications

      • Typically requires BS/BA (EE/CS) or equivalent.
      • Excellent written and verbal communication, listening, and strong presentation skills
      • Strong problem-solving skills: ability to assess a problem and determine an effective course of action.
      • Ability to work effectively and add value as a team member.
