      Job Summary

      Provides product research and sourcing, introduces new/improved products. Process requisitions into purchase orders and serves are the liaison between end user departments and Supply Chain. Actively involved with end-users' assessments of existing product, as well as, responsible for identifying more efficient or cost effective means of product use. Works closely with Value Analysis Team and Item Master to ensure negotiated product pricing is available, accurate, and current. Manages reports, identifies trends, and fail points; providing data to Supply Chain/Value Analysis Manager. Maintains open dialogue with customers and team to ensure user satisfaction.


      Required Qualifications

      - Require a minimum of five (5) years of business experience or equivalent work experience directly related to purchasing, product research, customer service, supply chain, preferably in healthcare field.


      Preferred Qualifications

      - Prefer an associate or bachelor's degree in business or health care administration.
      - Prefer proven ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
      - Prefer demonstrated functional knowledge of supply chain systems and processes, preferably PeopleSoft knowledge.
      - Prefer proficiency in project and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize variety of duties.
      - Prefer proficiency in the advanced use of computer software and database in a Windows environment (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Smart Sheets).
      - Prefer proven ability to work as a team member.


      Mandatory Education

      HS EQ: High School Diploma, GED or Certificate
