- Design and communicate compelling furniture layouts that delight our customers
- Utilize industry-standard software like CET, Revit, and Sketchup
- Apply guidelines of circulation design, ergonomics, ADA compliance, etc.
- Exercise creativity and a keen eye for aesthetics to advise design solutions for our customers
- Read architectural drawings and understand basic spatial concepts
- Demonstrate pride and confidence in producing customer-facing documents that excite our customers
- Practice sound organization and task management to ensure 100% on-time delivery of client requests
- Proactively communicate with project teams to maximize client satisfaction
- Advise and Implement improvements to the product catalogue and marketing collateral
- Foster a deep understanding of relevant software tools to expedite better workflows and deliverables
- Recommend product design improvements based on experience and customer feedback
- How to use drawing software with confidence and proficiency (CET, AutoCAD, Revit, or SketchUp)
- How to think analytically to identify and resolve problems with efficiency and accuracy
- How to understand, retain, and conduct trainings on complex product lines
- How to meet deadlines by prioritizing and adapting to a varying workflow without losing sight of details
- How to continuously improve personal and professional knowledge and skillsets
- How to speak and write with clarity
- Someone with at least one year of space planning and/or interior design experience
- Someone with a degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or Project Management is preferred
- Someone with previous experience in a sales-focused role
- Someone with experience in contract furniture preferred
- Someone with a background in multi-disciplinary design and cross-departmental collaboration
- This role can expect to earn $25- $31per hour upon hire

- PROFIT SHARING | Profit Sharing is how we reward the effort and commitment of our employees. Generally, 25% of profits are allocated to the Profit Sharing Plan after the baseline profit level is met. The overall profit sharing amount varies from year to year.

We are proud to source the best talent and materials at our manufacturing facility in Poulsbo, WA.The Space Planner / Designer is a critically important member of our Client Services and Sales Operations teams. This position is responsible for designing creative furniture layouts using our products to solve client challenges. This role works collaboratively with Sales Reps, Account Managers, and Engineers to determine the best solution based on a variety of considerations.
You will be expected to foster a deep understanding of our product and manufacturing capabilities to recommend custom furniture solutions as well as process improvements pertaining to design, nonstandard product, and customer deliverables. This knowledge will also be leveraged to collaborate with customer service representatives to diagnose existing product issues.
In this role you will also cultivate and maintain excellent cross-functional relationships with Sales Managers, Sales Reps, Account Managers, Marketing, and Operations staff to ensure that all processes are operating effectively and that communication is fluid.
