What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Communicate with potential and existing customers to explain product operations and generate sales
- Respond to inquiries from patients, Territory Managers, and Health Care Providers regarding products and services
- Document interactions and manage customer relationships in accordance with HIPAA guidelines
- Provide superior customer support and manage order status updates and reimbursement processes
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of diabetes care products and therapies, including competitor offerings
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in a sales support role, preferably in medical device or technology
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively over the phone and resolve customer issues
- Strong call handling skills with a proven track record of excellent customer service
- Computer competency including MS Office and customer relationship management (CRM) systems
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Knowledge of diabetes therapies and benefits of insulin pump therapy
- Experience in patient diabetes education and documenting calls while speaking to customers
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Familiarity with durable medical equipment policies and health insurance reimbursement processes
