What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Post manual and electronic patient and insurance payments, adjustments, and denials
- Locate remittances and payments in various portals and clearinghouses
- Review patient account balances to ensure posting accuracy
- Perform daily cash reconciliation and reporting
- Research and resolve unapplied accounts and unidentified deposits
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Must be detail-oriented and possess strong organizational skills
- Minimum of data entry experience
- Ability to read, speak, and write fluent English
- Familiarity with computers, including basic to intermediate Excel skills
- Developed communication skills to effectively work with all levels of management, peers, and clients
