What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Support Canadian media and influencer relations at the employer
- Proactively identify compelling narratives that align with business objectives
- Lead the team’s speaker, events, and award strategy in Canada and the US
- Develop on-brand media materials, including press releases and key messaging
- Build and maintain strong relationships with relevant media and influencers
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 3-5 years of experience in PR/communications
- Strong media and influencer relationships in Canada
- An understanding of Canada’s political landscape
- A clear, concise, and grammatical writer
- Professional and diplomatic mindset with all internal and external communication
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Agency experience is preferred
- Results-oriented and can measure impact beyond surface metrics
- Not afraid to give and receive candid feedback
- Excited about working at the intersection of technology and finance
- Scrappy, creative, and proactive in problem-solving
